  • Where is your facility located?
We are located at 2550 Dry Creek Road, Paso Robles, California 93446. Paso Robles is located half-way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Paso Robles is the third largest wine producer in California following Sonoma and Napa Valley.
  • How does pricing work?
We offer three pricing packages – Bronze, Gold and Platinum. The bronze package is our most popular option since it affords new winemakers the ability to choose between most common varietals including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and many others. The gold package was intended for people interested in developing more obscure or hard to find wines. This includes Champagne, Gewurztraminer and Port. These wines are more scarce, difficult to make, and cost more. In addition, clients interested in producing wines with custom branded options like corks and capsules should choose the gold plan. The platinum package is for people interested in our “custom crush” services. Custom crush refers to the process in which physical grapes are processed into wine. If you are interested in custom crush services, please see our parent company – Pacific Wine Service’s website: (www.pacificwineservices.com).
  • Why does the program include 276 bottles?
One standard barrel of wine holds 59 gallons. This translates into 25 cases or 300 bottles of wine. All wine “lots” experience loss in gallonage when they undergo the process of filtration and bottling. This often results in a loss of two cases of wine. After subtracting this loss, Bespoke customers can expect to have 23 cases of wine or 276 bottles.
  • I see the word “varietal” on your website. What does that mean?
Varietals are specific types of wine. Some popular varietals include Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fun fact: many popular varietals were developed through the breeding of two “parent” varietals. For example, Cabernet Sauvignon was created through the breeding of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. The Bespoke program requires winemakers to choose one varietal.
  • What does each bottle of wine cost?
Gold Package: $10,000 / 276 = $36.23 per bottle Bronze Package: $8,000 / 276 bottles = $28.99 per bottle Platinum Package: Pricing varies depending on volume. Please contact michael@pacificwineservices.com to learn more.
  • How do I get started?
We require a 50% deposit and signed client contract to get started. You can view this contract HERE. We accept all major credit cards, check, cash and wire transfer.
  • What happens after my wine is bottled?
Once your wine it bottled, it is stored in our temperature-controlled case good storage area. We offer two weeks of free case good storage. After those two weeks, we charge customers a storage fee of $1.00 per case, per month.
  • Do you offer case good storage?
Yes, the fee is $1,00 per case, per month.
  • Do you provide fulfillment services?
Yes, we do provide fulfillment services. We utilized GSO and UPS as our main shipping partners. Both companies feature variable pricing, but you can expect to pay the following prices per shipment. Please note, this does not include any taxes or additional fees: 1 bottle: $20 shipping / $4 for packaging = $24 total ($24 per bottle) 6 bottles: $30 / $12 for packaging = $42 total ($7 per bottle) 12 bottles: $40 / $14 for packaging = $54 total ($4.5 per bottle)
  • What is the cost to reorder?
All Bespoke customers are able to re-order their wine at a substantial discount. This is due to the fact that all intensive wine-blending, graphic design and legal compliance took place during the initial order. Most customers are able to reorder at $15-$13 per bottle.
  • I want to produce more than one type of wine (varietal); how does that work? Do I get a discount?
Each Bespoke package requires winemakers to develop a single “varietal” or type of wine. This creates limitations for people interested in developing a larger assortment of wine, or even a red and white wine simultaneously. This is due to the fact that purchasing less than one barrel of wine results in “headspace” allowing oxygen inside the barrel turning the wine into vinegar. This translates into the minimum quantity purchase being a single barrel. If you are interested in developing a red and white wine, or two different varietals, we offer a 10% discount for purchasing two packages. As an example, if you are interested in developing a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Sauvignon we would offer a 10% discount on your Cabernet Sauvignon purchase resulting in a $800 savings.
  • Do you produce Champagne?
Due to international AVA restrictions and copyright laws, all sparkling wines made outside of Champagne, France and not able to be called “Champagne”. This is very similar to the requirement that all tequila needs to originate from Tequila, Mexico. That being said, our facility offers “sparkling wine” or “California Champagne”. Due to its complex manufacturing process, people interested in developing their own sparkling wines must select the gold package.
  • Can you ship my wine outside of California?
Yes, we are able to ship wine to most states. Some states including Utah and Alabama are considered “dry states” which make it difficult to import wine. To learn more about state-by-state regulations, please visit this interactive map - https://wineinstitute.compliancerules.org/state-map/
  • Can you ship internationally?
No, at the moment we do not provide Bespoke services to customers living outside of the United States.
